How Should I Take Doxycycline?
Doxycycline 100 mg is used to prevent Malaria. Doxycycline should be taken a day or two before traveling to a place where Malaria is prevalent, and continued for 4 weeks after leaving that place. However, the duration of this treatment should not be for more than 4 months. Take Doxycycline with a full glass of water, though you can take it regardless of food. The tablet should be swallowed whole, but for those who have difficulty in swallowing, the entire contents of the Doxycycline release capsule can be sprinkled on to a spoonful of applesauce that should be cool but soft.
